CARFED‘s journey began in 1969, in Milan, Italy. Founded by Federico Caravita (whose initials form the word “CAR + FED”), its production took off from the first Monoblock live chicken crate.
Soon, the vision of this Italian pioneer mixed with the infamous Italian craftsmanship enabled the company to expand its catalogue, producing live chicken and live turkeys crates and the first collapsible crate, named MONDIAL*CARFED (cms. 80x60x28).
Pushed by a global vision and the concrete needs of international markets, CARFED launched collapsible crates for chickens and turkeys/ducks too, named MULTI 100/110, with a “T” that stands for turkeys and ducks.
